QUALIFICATIONS:

1.) Certification in Special Education/PA Instructional I or II

2.) Secondary Teaching Experience

3.) Knowledge of Special Education Regulations

4.) Ability to assist special population students in all academic and career and technology program skills and fully implement IEP goals and transition activities

5.) Able to maintain communication/documentation with administration and Special Populations Coordinator concerning student progress

6.) Flexibility to provide learning environments that are supportive to individual student differences

7.) Ability to obtain all PDE required clearances

FULL TIME EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR CIP 19.0708 2026/2027 SCHOOL YEAR

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.) Certification in PA Career and Technical Education or Ability to Obtain

2.) Certifications/Degrees in Family Consumer Sciences or Child Development is a plus

3.) Secondary Teaching Experience is preferrable

4.) Four out of the last ten years of verifiable highly qualified experience in preschool and/or early childcare facilities are required

5.) Ability to teach all phases of early childhood development including physical, social, emotional and intellectual to secondary students; including nutrition, guidance and discipline

6.) Able to oversee students in practicum settings at local preschools

7.) All PDE clearances required

Instructional Assistants / Substitute Instructors

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to assist Career and Technical Instructors in secondary classroom and lab settings between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. (6 hours)
  • Experience in trade/vocational careers preferred
  • Ability to work with high school students
  • Have all applicable federal and state required clearances

STARTING:  Immediately

WAGE: $17.75 per hour
